THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FROST ADVISORY FOR ATHENS COUNTY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 9 AM EDT FRIDAY.

TEMPERATURES – IN THE LOWER TO MID 30S
TIMING – LATE TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY MORNING
IMPACTS – SENSITIVE VEGETATION COULD BE DAMAGED OR KILLED

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS – A FROST ADVISORY MEANS THAT FROST IS POSSIBLE. SENSITIVE OUTDOOR PLANTS MAY BE KILLED IF LEFT UNCOVERED.
