Athens County Roads Closed Due to Flooding, Current List!



Flooding has closed the following roads in Athens County;

  • State Route 13 North of the Village of Glouster
  • State Route 13 at the intersection of State Route 329 in the Village of Trimble
  • State Route 13 at the intersection of State Route 685
  • Sections of State Route 329 between the Villages of Trimble and Amesville
  • County Road 93, Truetown Road, from State Route 13 to Township Road 409, Oregon Ridge Rd
  • County Road 4, Glen Ebon Road, from US Route 33 to State Route 691
  • County Road 27, Millfield  Road, from County Road 93, Truetown Road to West Street, Millfield

Do not drive into high water, TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN!!  Detours are being established.  Please avoid the area.

Emergency Management Agency is the central point of coordination within the county for response and recovery to disasters. The primary focus of the agency when not in a response or recovery mode is to ensure that the county and citizens residing in it, are prepared to respond to an emergency or disaster and to lead mitigation efforts against the effects of future disasters.
