Athens Co Road Closed Flooding

Flooding and has closed the following Athens County roads;

  • CR 1 – Carbondale Road, by Gabrial Hill
  • CR 10 – Baker Road   681 and CR 14, at the Marion Johnson intersection
  • CR 17 – Fisher Road  by Township Road 50
  • CR 18 – Potter Road   at 550
  • CR 19 – Hebbardsville Road  between CR 17A and CR 19
  • CR 31 – Oakdale Road, lower end
  • CR 34 – Dutch Creek Road
  • CR 38 – Sand Rock Road
  • CR 44 – Bucks Lake Road, between CR 45 and County line
  • CR 48 – New England Road
  • CR 49 – Joy Road
  • CR 51 – Plantsville Road
  • CR 57 – Rodehaver Road, off CR 53
  • CR 100 – Rhoric Road between CR 3 and CR 9

Ohio Department of Transportation Closures

  • SR 56  Between Vinton County line and Athens Corp
  • SR 329 Between SR 144 and SR 550
  • SR 356 Between SR 681 and SR 56
  • SR 550 Restricted, Between East SR 329 and SR 377
  • SR 681 Between SR 356 and US 50
  • SR 690 Between US 50 and SR 550
  • SR 691 Restricted, Between SR 56 and US 50

Do not drive into high water, TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN!! Please avoid these areas.
