Some Athens Co Roads Closed Due To Flooding, follow link for list

Athens Co Road Closed Flooding

Flooding and has closed the following Athens County roads;

  • CR 1 – Carbondale Road, at Gabriel Hill
  • CR 10 – Baker Road, at 681 and CR 14, at the Marion Johnson Intersection
  • CR 17 – Fisher Road, by Township Road 50
  • CR 18-Potter Road, at 550
  • CR 19 – Hebbardsville Road, between CR 17A and CR 19
  • CR 31 – Oakdale Road, lower end
  • CR 34 – Dutch Creek Road
  • CR 38- Sand Rock Road
  • CR 44 – Bucks Lake Road, between CR 45 and County line
  • CR 48 – New England Road
  • CR 49 – Joy Road
  • CR 51 – Planstville Road
  • CR 57 – Rodehaver Road, off CR 53
  • CR 100 – Rhoric Road, between CR 3 and CR 9

Do not drive into high water, TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN!! Please avoid these areas.

The primary focus of the agency when not in a response or recovery mode is to ensure that the county and citizens residing in it, are prepared to respond to an emergency or disaster and to lead mitigation efforts against the effects of future disasters.
