Athens Co Road Closed Flooding

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 22, 2018 – 11:00AM

High water has been reported on the following Athens County roads and State Routes by the Athens County Engineer’s Office and the Ohio Department of Transportation;

  • Waterloo Twp 25, Hawk Rd, Llewelyn Rd to Fox Lake Rd until 12noon, washed out culvert
  • CR 4 – Glen Ebon Rd, SR691 to SR33
  • CR18 – Potter Rd, SR 550 to CR 48 (New England)
  • CR 31 – Oakdale Rd, CR 87 (Antle Orchard) to Perry Co Line
  • CR 34 – Dutch Creek Rd, T216 (Pete Smith) to SR 690
  • CR 49 – Joy Creek Rd, SR 550 to Morgan Co Line
  • CR 58 – Frost Rd, T532 (Frost Rd) to T182 (Smith Rd)
  • CR 68 – Johnson Run RD, CR 31 (Oakdale) to Perry Co Line
  • CR 85 – Big Run Rd, SR 329 to Washington Co Line
  • CR 93 – Truetown Road, T332 (Monserat Ridge) to T409 (Oregon Trail)
  • CR 109 – Beebe Rd, T191 (Haga Ridge) to Washington Co Line
  • SR13 – between SR685 and SR329
  • SR13 – between SR329 and SR78
  • SR56 – between Vinton Co line and Athens City Limits
  • SR329 – between SR144 and SR550
  • SR329 – between SR550 and SR13
  • SR356 – between SR681 and SR56
  • SR550 – between SR33 and SR 690
  • SR690 – between SR50 and SR550

Do not drive into high water, TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN!!  Please avoid these areas.
