WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR ATHENS COUNTY FROM 12AM TO 11AM, THURSDAY, 11/15/18.

  • WHAT – Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch expected.
  • WHERE – Portions of southeast Ohio and central and northern West Virginia.
  • WHEN – From 12AM to 11AM, Thursday, 11/15/18.
  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS – Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS; A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.
