Athens Co Road Closed Flooding

Athens County Engineer’s Office
February 12, 2019 – 3:00PM

High water has been reported on the following Athens County roads and State Routes;

  • CR 4 – Glen Ebon Road, CLOSED, US33 to SR691
  • CR 24 – Harmony Road, RESTRICTED, Terrell RD to CR24A
  • CR 24 – South Canaan Road, RESTRICTED, CR24A to Mansfield RD
  • CR 34 – Dutch Creek Road, CLOSED, SR690 to Pete Smith RD
  • CR 58 – Frost Road, CLOSED, Smith RD to Frost RD
  • SR13 – RESTRICTED, Between SR 329 and SR 78
  • SR56 – CLOSED, Between Vinton Co. line and Athens Corp
  • SR144 – CLOSED, Between US 50 and SR 329
  • SR356 – CLOSED, Between SR 681 and SR 56

 

Do not drive into high water, TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN!!  Please avoid these areas.
